Every Tourmaline on these necklaces will be a one-of-a-kind item. The Tourmalines are organically cut from larger stones and each one will vary slightly to significantly which makes these necklace so special and truly a one of a kind design.
Tourmaline is a magnificent gemstone and these Watermelon or Multi-colored Tourmalines are rare and for Tourmaline lovers they are highly sought after. Watermelon Tourmalines look like slices of that wonderful summer fruit, pink in the middle with varying degrees of green on the outer sides, sometime the reverse happens.
Multi-colored Tourmalines are a kaleidoscope of many beautiful colors from lemon yellow, greens, browns, pinks, peachy pink and the ones with blues are the absolute rarest finds. Since each and every gemstone is unique and there is no sense of trying to pair for perfection, one must surrender and embrace each for its very own beauty. I've taken great consideration in selecting pieces for each necklace. You will not be able to select a particular necklace you'll have to have faith in trust your designer. The Tourmaline is flanked evenly on each side with a row of gorgeous faceted dark blue Kyanite and 14k gold filled links and findings. A rare version of tourmaline, liddicoatite has triangular cross-sections of color. It can be pink, red, green brown or blue, or a combination of all. It's believed to align mental processes, encourage self-confidence, promote understanding, and provide insight into conflicts.
The wire wrapping on my designs is never pre-fabricated or purchased in bulk. I meticulously and thoughtfully wrap each design.
