Watermelon Tourmaline is a variety of concentrically color zoned tourmaline often with red interiors and green exterior. In some cases these zones can layer alternatively on larger stones allowing for the reversed when sliced. Found predominantly in Maine and Norway. With a Mohs hardness value of 7-7.5 it is a relatively durable stone even with fissures and occlusions that often occur. It's rarity, high demand and one-of-a-kindness give these stones its high value. Note: Each bracelet will vary and I will upload images of stones as they are sourced.
