A long awaited passion of mine, silver and goldsmithing comes to life, right here on these pages! The designs featured in this collection are inspired by my love and respect for Wabi Sabi Lifestyle.
Celebrating my ethnic culture and aesthetics. Wabi-Sabi is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. Appreciating all things in nature and art that are impermanent and incomplete.
Wabi Sabi is translated as subdued, austere beauty. Characteristics of Wabi Sabi include asymmetry, roughness, simplicity, austerity and intimacy. Wabi Sabi originally translated as wabi - loneliness in nature and sabi - chill or withered. The sadness of the meaning was transpired when Japanese monks taught the understanding of emptiness and imperfection is an honor that is tantamount to enlightenment to those of nobility and scholars.
