Lakshmi - Multi-Gemstone Lotus Silver Earrings

Large sterling silver double lotus petals host precious gemstones of faceted teardrops from top carnelian, middle citrine and the bottom features a faceted natural ruby.

Each stone is hand cut; therefore, sizes and shape and color will vary slightly. Wrapped in 14k gold filled wire consistent with my signature of mixing metals. The mix in metals highlights the richness of these gems and accentuates the lotus blossom that have grown beautifully along the Nile River for centuries In many cultures, it is thought that when rubies are rubbed on the skin, it would restore youth and vitality.

Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity. She is the wife and shakti (energy) of Vishnu. Lakshmi inspired me when I created these earrings. Big and bold yet delicate and light. I added bright vibrant colors that are alive throughout Indian festivities and celebrations.

For thousands of years, Ruby was considered the stone of love, energy, passion, power, and a zest for life. Like no other gemstone in the world, Ruby is the perfect symbol for powerful feelings.

A stabilising stone, Carnelian restores vitality and motivation, and stimulates creativity. It gives courage, promotes positive life choices, dispels apathy and motivates for success.

The wire wrapping on my designs is never pre-fabricated or purchased in bulk. I meticulously and thoughtfully wrap each design.
